My final set of AP scores came in! I actually found them out yesterday afternoon at orientation for UGA, but I got the letter in the mail today, so it feels official.

French: 5
Biology: 4
Literature and Composition: 4
French Literature: 3

Scores are out of 5, so I'm really happy with all of those. And also there wasn't a class for the French Lit test, so I was flying solo on that one. And of course I'm ecstatic about the 5.
So at orientation we did testing and I ended up in FREN3010, which is like, 3rd year French at college. I'm excited. I move in on August 12th...hmm...

Life is wonderful!

Not exactly sure when my last update was, so I'll start at the end of school.

Graduated with honors from Brookwood on May 20th, also a member (with distinction) of the National French Honors Society, AP Scholar. Yay!

The next day was my eighteenth birthday and it was wonderful. I spent it with Chris and it was awesome.

So a few days passed, and on the 24th Chris asked me out and I said yes, and we've been together ever since and it's been the most wonderful thing ever. I can barely describe it.

Fluety is doing really well too. We've been doing a lot of night riding because it's so much cooler . More then. He's so awesome.

So nothing's really been going on since then, just hangin' out, waiting for college to start. Orientation Monday and Tuesday

But more importantly, Fernbank tomorrow with the most wonderful guy I know. :)

Wow, sorry I haven't posted in so long, everyone!

Well, a lot has happened.

First of all, I graduated with honors from Brookwood High School on May 20th. It was a relief to finally be done, and it was nice to not have to take any finals at all. So now I just have to get everything straightened out for UGA in the fall.

School was fun these past few weeks because I didn't have to do anything, really. Showing up at school just to chill and get people to sign my yearbook was nice.

Secondly, I turned eighteen on May 21st and that was really cool. My mom made this really awesome cake and everything. I got some books and a DVD and Chris and I spent the afternoon together.

Fluety has been absolutely amazing. Not perfect, but really willing and energetic. I can handle the spooking as long as he's cool with going forward. I went to see him today but couldn't ride because it was raining. It's so nice to see him though. He's such a good boy. I love him.

So it just feels like a lot, because it is. I mainly just wanted to let you guys know I was still alive, haha!

Life is wonderful.

So I had a lesson on Thursday which went pretty well, except that Fluety didn't really want to work. He was absolutely horrid today. Sadly, I am neither surprised nor do I have enough energy to be that upset about it.

I went mini-golfing with my brother and Chris and Jeremy Thursday evening as well, and that was awesome except for the fact that I cannot play miniature golf. At all. And got made fun of. Yay. But it was still a lot of fun.

I'm really exhausted. I think this will be a short entry.

Yay Holy Week! :D Happy Easter!

Whoa, it's been a while!

First of all, I haven't gotten a chance to ride Fluety since the last Newton County show, and it's killing me. Either I've been loaded down with schoolwork that doesn't matter anyway or it's been raining. But thankfully I have a lesson on Thursday so that will hopefully be a great success. I lunged him yesterday and he was really great, but he also gave me some *huge* bucks, heels over his head and all. he's a really good boy though, and he's enjoying all of the new grass that's growing in!
Unfortunately the warmer weather has also brought back all of the carpenter bees that hang around the barn, and there's more of them than ever this year, and they're super-irritating because they just hover really close to your head.

So apparently I finally lettered academically at school, which means that for two consecutive semesters I had a 90% or above average, so I get a letter that I can put on my letter jacket. The only problem is that I'm not getting a letter jacket because in a month I won't want to wear it anymore, so I'll just keep the letter as it is.
Also I'm an AP scholar, which I think just means that I took 4 or more AP courses over my high school career. I took AP Human Geography my freshman year and this year I'm taking AP French, AP Literature and Composition, and AP Biology. I'm also taking the AP French Literature exam, but that's not offered as an official course at school.

I'm excited about Skidaway next week! It's going to be tons of fun! I'm going with my Biology class. Hopefully the weather will be nice.

Ugh, I think I have a touch of allergies. I was driving home from church on Sunday on Highway 78 and there was just this yellow haze in the air. It's not nearly as bad as some people, which I'm really thankful for, but having a runny nose is always annoying.
Speaking of church, I really am enjoying it more and more, especially now since I know a lot of the people, mostly the kids that're around my age. Sunday school is really cool, and the actual service isn't boring either. I've started going to youth group on Wednesday nights, but they haven't had it the past two weeks because of spring break for Gwinnett and Walton counties and I'm leaving the next Wednesday (the 15th) for Skidaway. Palm Sunday last week scared me a little bit because I didn't know what to expect and was sitting completely by myself. Easter should be interesting. It's like, the only day ever I think where people expect you to dress up there.

Today was really cold and windy. Heck, it SNOWED. Like, three different times. Tomorrow it's supposed to get up to sixty degrees, and then up to seventy-two on Thursday.

I think tomorrow I'm going to bite the bullet and get my research done for my stupid inane research project I have to do for AP Lit. It's ridiculous and I know I'll have to do them in college or whatever, but just the way it's done and set up. I could go on and on about that class, but I won't.
Also I have a lesson in the middle of the day Thursday and my parents are going to Zoo Atlanta I think, so my mom and I will have to go Skidaway shopping/skirt hunting on Friday or something. Then Saturday is a mystery and Sunday is church and just Easter in general. I need a skirt to go under my graduation gown (which I got this past week) and one for academic honors night, and just because I've discovered that as much as I love blue jeans, I love skirts. And I only have two, only one of which I wear.

I suppose that's all I have going on, which shouldn't feel like a lot, but it really does. I'm a bit overwhelmed right now. I have no idea what I'm going to do with Fluety when college starts. It'll all work out, I'm sure.

I also want to go find a blood drive and give blood after I find out what type I am. I've always thought I was O. my mom's O, but I have no idea what my dad is, but if he's anything other than O than I can't be O. Oh, you have to love genetics.

So in AP Biology right now we're doing a unit on the senses of animals and it's pretty boring. Before we leave for the trip on Wednesday though we have a test. Yay.

AP Lit is some silly poetry unit and our research projects for our choice books. That class will be the death of me.

Forensics right now we're doing serology, which isn't so bad; it's just studying the components of the blood and how to find it after someone's attempted to clean it up, how to tell whether it's animal or human, how to use it to eliminate suspects, how blood transfusions work, etc. It's pretty interesting and we watched the movie Blood Work with Clint Eastwood in it. I thought the plot was pretty stupid, but it was better than doing actual work.

In AP French we're working out of the book and the workbook a lot, and also Capitaine made us write letters to these kids in middle school (they call it "collège") in France. We wrote half the letter in French and half in English. The way it's supposed to work is that the French student is supposed to correct our French and we're supposed to correct their English. However, this didn't start until like, a month before school lets out, so we won't get to send/receive many letters. But it's all good because my French corresponant found me on Facebook. Her name's Cléa and she's really nice, from the conversations we've had.
Also a few weeks ago we had M. Michel come to our French class and talk about an exchange program. For that day we six AP kids were combined with an entire French I class. I felt really awesome because he was really impressed with my French and couldn't believe I was that good without having been outside the country or having done an exchange. It was a really cool thing to know that I'm at least on the right track.

Wow, I think this entry is long enough. I'm going to look at a few more skirts and then find someplace warm to watch TV. Then tomorrow will be hardcore schoolwork!
